Throughout Scripture we see how God cares for the vulnerable; when we also care for the vulnerable, we are making this truth about God known to others. “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy place.” Psalms 68:5
We were the vulnerable and Jesus stepped in and intervened and loved us, so we could be adopted, protected, and loved by Him, and we will never be vulnerable again.
Advocating, Fostering & Mentoring: Over the past 20 years God has allowed us many opportunities to serve, learn and grow when it comes to better serving kids from hard places. We are part of the Guatemalan foster care program and since 2019 have received 5 babies. Each baby was in our home for the time they needed while the judge decided if they should return to biological family or be adopted.
God is using our church to be a resource to other churches in how to better serve the vulnerable. It has been a blessing to help encourage and advocate for the vulnerable.
